Anti Wrinkle treatments

Smoothing out laughter lines and wrinkles caused naturally by ageing or sun exposure has never been quicker or easier.

Keeping your face smooth and supple is no easy task. Wrinkles form as our skin gets older and less elastic, and the sun does its fair share of damage too.We stock Eucerin Photoaging Control CC Sun Cream Tinted SPF50 50ml

Maintains the hydration and protects your skin from sun damage

A facial sun creme with light colour pigments for fair skin tones. Very high UV protection and cell protection. This will help protect your skin after treatments Eucerin’s Advanced Spectral Technology offers high to very high factor UVA/UVB protection and Hevis light defense. The sunscreen supports skin’s own DNA repair mechanism, reduces signs of skin aging and unifies the complexion.

Injectable anti-ageing treatments are a quick and convenient way to smooth out those lines on the forehead and around the eyes and mouth without any need for surgery.

How does it work?

We use specialised injectables to rejuvenate the skin and combat wrinkles, encouraging the growth of collagen which strengthens the skin and smooth away lines and folds.

How will I feel during treatment?

Generally the main discomfort felt is the sensation of the needle, which only lasts for a few seconds.

What happens afterwards?

There are very few after effects associated with injectable treatments. Soreness and mild swelling sometimes occur, but disappear within a short period. Your expert will go into detail and explain how to care for your skin after having the anti-ageing treatment that you choose.

When he is applied to the muscle, usually face muscles, BTX disables movement of the muscle for some period of time. In this way, wrinkles are reduced for that period of time.

For you as the patient, there is no significant clinical difference between the formulations, they are all good! At our clinic we have experience with both formulations and currently use mainly AZZALURE as it is more affordable !

Injections for Wrinkle Reduction: – AZZALURE £190 (3 areas)– BOTOX (Depends on treated areas)

Try to exercise your treated muscles for the first hour after treatment (e.g. practice frowning, raising your eyebrows or squinting). This helps to work the treatment into your muscles. Although this may help your procedure outcome, it will NOT impact your treatment negatively if you forget to do this.

Do NOT have a facial, nor rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after your treatment.

Do NOT lie down or do strenuous exercise for three hours after treatment.

Do NOT have any exposure to a sauna, hot tub or tanning for four hours.

This will minimize the risk of bruising after treatment.

There is a small risk of bruising.

If this occurs, do not worry since it will only be temporary and can easily be covered up with makeup. Any little bit of bruising may last up to one week.

You should see the mosts optimal results after 2 weeks. However, if you maintain your treatment appointments with the frequency  recommended, the duration of each treatment result may last longer than four months.

Our risk assessment consultation covers the following

 if you suffer from any type of bleeding disorder

 if you receive substances that prevent the blood from clotting (e.g. coumarin, heparin, acetylsalicylic acid, clopidogrel)

 if you suffer from pronounced weakness or decreased muscle volume in the muscle where you will receive the injection

 if you suffer from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which can lead to generalised muscle decrease

 if you suffer from any disease that disturbs the interaction between nerves and skeletal muscles (peripheral neuromuscular dysfunction)

 if you have or have had swallowing difficulties

 if you have had problems with injections of Botulinum toxin type A in the past

 if you are due to have surgery

Elderly There is limited information on the treatment of patients over 65 years of age. Therefore, BTX should not be used in patients over the age of 65 years.

Children and adolescents As there is no information regarding the use in children and adolescents, BTX should not be given to patients under the age of 18 years.

The effect of btx may be increased by:

 medicines used to treat certain infectious diseases (spectinomycin or aminoglycoside antibiotics [e.g. neomycin, kanamycin, tobramycin])

 other medicines that relax the muscles (e.g. muscle relaxants of the tubocurarine type). Such medicines are used, for example, in general anaesthesia. Before you have surgery, tell your anaesthetist if you have received BTX. In these cases, BTX must be used carefully.

The effect of BTX may be reduced by certain medicines for malaria and rheumatism (known as aminoquinolines).

BTX should not be used during pregnancy or when you are breastfeeding

We are dedicated to ensuring your safety at all times and we aim to support you having healthier skin by promoting lifestyle interventions and use of the most appropriate dermatological creams for you skintype
