Why do I need a Fit to Fly Test?
Further to the release of the Government’s red, amber and green travel lists, regulations may differ depending on the airline or country. Therefore, we advise that you visit the Government and Foreign Office Websites for guidance in advance of your travel. Moreover, you should book with us as soon as you can so that you don’t get caught out before your flight. The definitions of the different tiers are as follows:
Red List
You should not travel to these countries or territories. If you are arriving into the UK from a red list country, you must take a Covid test and book your quarantine hotel package, including two Covid tests; you must also fill out a passenger locator form. Upon your arrival within the UK, you must quarantine in a managed hotel, as well as taking two Covid tests.
Amber List
You should not travel to these countries or territories. If you are arriving into the UK from an amber list country, you must take a Covid test. You are also required to book your day 2 and day 8 travel tests for your return, as well as filling out your passenger locator form. On arrival, you must isolate at home or within a single location for 10 days, as well as taking your day 2 and day 8 tests.
If you are looking to go on holiday this month:
Green List
If you are looking to jet off on your summer holidays, you are permitted to travel to countries on the green list. Before you travel back to the UK, you must take a Covid test, as well as booking your day 2 test. You must also fill out a passenger locator form, however you are not required to isolate.
